愛心比美麗更動人。以偶像劇「我可能不會愛你」走紅的林依晨，今天從象徵聖誕希望的大禮物盒現身，並代表台灣歐德傢俱公司（Order）致贈1,500份聖誕禮物給中華基督教救助協會，轉送陪讀班的清寒孩童。
也許是童心未泯，或許是被小朋友的歡樂氣氛所感染，林依晨特別顯得俏皮可愛，陪讀班小朋友跳舞時，林依晨很快趕上節奏，舞姿淘氣。她也完全配合攝影記者的要求擺POSE，當紅藝人做公益，事半功倍外，尤令人在今年最冷寒流即將來臨之際，倍感溫暖。
陪讀班的孩童多半來自單親、失親、隔代教養、外籍配偶的家庭，由救助協會資助各地教會，支付必要花費，並召募志工，當陪讀班孩童的老師與益友。陪讀班相當於安親班，所不同的，參加陪讀班完全免費。許多陪讀班甚至有專車，接送孩童上下課。八年來已幫助超過一萬名孩童，從學習瓶頸中，藉由讀書，走出不一樣的人生，許多陪讀班的孩子，陸續考上很好的高中與大學。
有些偏鄉教會，需要幫助的孩童非常多，經費常不夠用，牧師、師母、傳道甚至自掏腰包。聖經中喻示基督徒，不可忘記行善和捐輸，其實每月只要捐出少許，即可讓一位小朋友，快快樂樂參加陪讀班。
隱藏在台灣的角落約有10萬名的低收入戶家庭，需要課後輔導。因父母忙於賺錢養家，沒有能力給予課業的指導，導致孩子的學習陷入困境，成績不佳，學習成就感低落，最終放棄學習。
陪讀班除課業輔導外，救助協會秘書長夏忠堅今天說，陪讀班也強調品格教育及全人成長，老師與志工也會作家庭訪視。
一位小朋友就是一粒希望的種子，在種子長成大樹的過程中，需要細心的呵護、灌溉與培育，如果孩子輸在起跑點，對孩子並不公平。夏忠堅呼籲企業像歐德傢俱一樣，多贊助陪讀班，許孩子一個滿懷期盼的未來。
